The Master of Design program at UniSA provides a multi-disciplinary educational environment with specialist discipline focus. Students work alongside and collaboratively with students from other specialisations, contributing to a deeper understanding of how artists and designers think, act and impact our broader society.
The Sustainable Design specialisation focuses on developing discipline specific skills while encouraging imaginative and expansive approaches to research, concept development and studio practice. Each specialisation aims to promote an understanding of cultural, ethical and environmental issues that support the development of the designer’s unique voice in contributing to the fabric of society. Sustainable Design students come from a variety of backgrounds and, during their final year of the Masters Program, self-initiate a project that allows them to explore aspects of sustainability as they relate to their discipline training. This virtual exhibition showcases the outstanding creative output of final year students in these streams of the Master of Design and celebrates their collaborative and socially conscious approach to design.
